Sunday, April 20 10:47 a.m. Complainant reported a driver failed to stop for the flashing red lights at the end of the runway. Officers located the suspect driver, who said he saw the lights but drove through because the gate did not close. The driver was issued a citation for failure to stop for flashing red signal. 2:33 p.m. A caller requested assistance removing an intoxicated person from his residence. The caller later changed his mind and told officers the man could stay. 9:01 p.m. Complainant reported loud music from a neighbor’s house. An officer contacted the offenders and requested the music volume be reduced.
Monday, April 21 3:04 p.m. A caller reported a man was in violation of his probation conditions. Investigating officers referred the matter to the district attorney. 3:34 p.m. A caretaker reported a vessel had been burglarized, but he was unsure specifically what items may have been taken. The case is under investigation. 9:52 p.m. A caller reported illegal drug activity at the high school. The case is under investigation.
Tuesday, April 22 11:03 a.m. Jose Lopez, of Unalaska, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct, following an altercation at the Sports Bar several days earlier. 2:26 p.m. A driver reported a taxi driver had executed a U-turn in the middle of the S-curves, creating a traffic hazard. An officer contacted the suspect driver, who admitted to having performed said maneuver. The taxi driver was issued a citation. 6:25 p.m. Civil papers were served. 8:37 p.m. A caller left a message reporting a suspicious driver doing "donuts" near the OSI pot yard. An officer attempted to locate the suspect driver, but discovered he had left the area approximately an hour earlier. 9:11 p.m. An officer initiated an investigation into mail theft. 9:51 p.m. An officer stopped a driver for a moving violation and discovered the vehicle’s license plate was not the one registered to the vehicle. The officer planned to file charges for improper use of registration/plate.
Wednesday, April 23 6:08 a.m. A caller reported a residence had been burglarized and food stolen. The situation is under investigation. 4:08 p.m. Officers contacted a probationer on behalf of his probation officer and determined he was in violation of his conditions of release. Jason Call, 34, of Unalaska, was remanded to custody.
Thursday, April 24 1:55 a.m. A caller reported two vehicles filled with noisy people at Memorial Park. Responding officers found one vehicle, void of occupants, upon their arrival. 2:44 a.m. Emergency Medical Services volunteers assisted a man who had been injured in a fight. 2:46 a.m. Officers responded to the Grand Aleutian regarding a fight that had resulted in several facial injuries to one man. A witness provided officers with a description of the suspect, who was located later and told officers he had wrestled the victim to the floor and then punched him multiple times in the face. Jesse Rooke, 36, of Oregon, was arrested and charged with assault in the fourth degree. 9:41 a.m. A Gas-n-Go employee reported a gas theft. An investigation revealed the pump did not properly record the credit card information. 6:09 p.m. A complainant asked an officer to issue a trespass advisement to a man whom he did not want at his apartment. The suspect was so advised. 9:11 p.m. A caller believed a person who had earlier been given a trespass advisement had returned to the caller’s apartment. An officer responded and found the suspect was not and had not been there.
Friday, April 25 3:13 p.m. A caller reported damage to a rental unit. An officer responded and confirmed there was damage to a door in the house. The suspects described by the caller had apparently left the island days earlier, and no other suspects were identified. 7:26 p.m. A third-party caller reported a vehicle theft. The responding officer contacted the vehicle owner, who stated nothing had been stolen and the incident was simply a misunderstanding. The suspect driver was advised his license was revoked. 10:10 p.m. A woman reported a domestic situation in which her husband may have custody concerns over their child. The woman said the child was safe, but she will not allow visitation with her husband while he is drinking. 11:52 p.m. Unalaska Department of Public Safety provided lodging for an inmate in transit from Akutan.
Saturday, April 26 4:02 a.m. An officer issued a trespass advisement for a business premise, per a security officer for the business.
Sunday, April 27 1:35 a.m. A caller reported concern for his daughter, having just seen her mother at a bar. Officers located the daughter and verified she was safe and in the care of several competent adults while her mother was at the bar. 2:06 a.m. Sports Bar management reported a woman in the bathroom refused to come out "without a fight." Officers contacted the woman, who completed her business in the bathroom then left the bar without incident.

March 28 Todd Causey, 43, was sentenced to 60 days in jail with 60 days suspended, fined $1,000 with $500 suspended, ordered to perform 40 hours of community work service and to forfeit seized drugs and paraphernalia and placed on probation for three years after pleading guilty to the charge of misconduct involving controlled substances in the sixth degree.
Thursday, April 3 Lesco B. Su’a, 30, of Seattle, was sentenced to 10 days in jail after pleading guilty to the charge of disorderly conduct. Dismissed was a charge of robbery in the second degree. In the same case, Su’a was sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended, fined $1,000 with $500 suspended and placed on probation for two years after pleading guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct. Travis A. Carducci, 37, was charged with criminal trespass in the first degree. Dennis E. Boyle-Holmes, 23, of Michigan, was charged with knowingly giving false information to a peace officer and violating condition of release. Ioane Faasavalu, 20, was charged with driving with license canceled or revoked, violating conditions of release and minor possessing or consuming alcohol.
Friday, April 4 Jozsef Gyongyosi, 49, was charged with fraudulent use of an access device. Larry G. Moore, 53, of Oklahoma, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 150 days suspended, fined $1,000 with $1,000 suspended, ordered to attend an alcohol screening and placed on probation for three years after pleading guilty to the charge of reckless endangerment. David H. Chadwick, 39, of Dutch Harbor, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 170 days suspended, ordered to pay restitution and placed on probation for five years after pleading guilty to the charge of criminal mischief in the fourth degree. Dismissed on record was a charge of disorderly conduct.

Monday, April 7 Scott W. Halama, 44, was charged with no motor vehicle liability insurance. Johnny L. Donaldson, 22, of California, was charged with driving with license revoked or suspended.
Tuesday, April 8 Wayne A. Smith, 52, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, immediate notice of accident required and reckless driving.
Wednesday, April 9 Ramon A. Escalderon III, 27, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 150 days suspended, fined $2,000 with $2,000 suspended and placed on probation for five years after pleading guilty to the charge of assault in the fourth degree involving domestic violence.

Thomas P. Wilson, 45, of Washington, was fined $500 after pleading guilty to a fish and game violation of no active vessel monitoring system. Dickson Bacalso Flores, 23, of Dutch Harbor, was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended, fined $1,000 with $1,000 suspended and placed on probation for two years after pleading guilty to the charge of reckless driving; and Flores was sentenced to 45 days in jail with 45 days suspended, ordered to pay restitution and to complete 40 hours of community work service and placed on probation for two years after pleading guilty to the charge of leaving the scene of an accident. Dismissed was a count of failing to carry proof of auto insurance. Joseph Reed, 22, was sentenced to 60 days in jail with 60 days suspended, fined $1,000, ordered to complete 40 hours of community work service and placed on probation for two years after pleading guilty to the charge of resisting or interfering with arrest. John D. Frei, 41, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 170 days suspended, fined $2,000 with $2,000 suspended, ordered to alcohol screening and anger management counseling and placed on probation for three years after pleading guilty to the charge of assault in the fourth degree involving domestic violence. Rylan L. Idolvantes, 27, was sentenced to 10 days in jail with five days suspended, ordered to perform 40 hours of community work service and placed on probation for two years after pleading guilty to the charge of disorderly conduct. Wednesday, April 16 A charge of drunken person on licensed premises against Michael Hill, 22, was dismissed. Candace R. Fisher, 20, of Dutch Harbor, was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended, fined, $500 with $250 suspended and placed on probation for one year after pleading guilty to the charge of permitting an unauthorized person to drive.
Friday, April 18 Joseph A. Knox, 20, was ordered to attend an alcohol information class and placed on probation until 21 years of age after pleading no contest to the charge of minor consuming alcohol. The charges of false information and violating conditions of release in a case against Dennis Edwin Boyle-Homes, 23, were dismissed.
Tuesday, April 22 Gordon E. Kristianson, 51, of Washington, was fined $500 after pleading no contest to a fish-and-game violation involving a fish-escape mechanism. Jesus A. Carrillo, 23, was charged with misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fifth degree. Jose F. Lopez, 33, was charged with disorderly conduct.
Wednesday, April 23 An order of dismissal was filed in a case against John Nordin, 39, in which a charge of failure to give notice during closed season was dismissed. Norris Johnson, 22, was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended, fined $3,000 with $1,500 dismissed, ordered to substance abuse treatment, placed on probation for three years, and the defendant’s driver’s license was revoked for 90 days after pleading guilty to the charge of driving under the influence. Harbor Crown Seafoods Inc. was fined $400 after pleading guilty to the fish and game violation of failure to file report of intent to operate.
Thursday, April 24 Jesse D. Rooke, 36, was charged with assault in the fourth degree. Matthew C. Sullivan, 24, of Oregon, was charged with improper use of registration or title.
